Product Updates

PatentProŽ 2004, released September 22, 2003--no updates.

The Patent Office has updated its filing fees effective October 1, 2003.  Please check Resources and Links on our website for the most current commonly used forms or check the Patent Office website for all forms. 

PatentPro Plus has been discontinued and replaced by PatentPro 2004.  Kernel will continue to support PatentPro Plus users.  Read the following instructions and click one of the links below to download the current service pack.

These files (or file) are (is) best downloaded with Internet Explorer.  If you are using Internet Explorer, click on the file you want, and then choose to save the file to your hard disk.  If you have a fast connection, choose the "all in one" file.  If you have a slower internet connection (i.e. dial-up) then download the "segmented" version by downloading all necessary files below.  If you aredownloading an "all in one" version, then run the Service Pack by either clicking Open when Internet Explorer finishes downloading, or double clicking on the file in Windows Explorer.  If you are downloading a "segmented" version, make sure all the downloaded files are in the same folder. You can then install the Service Pack by double clicking on the file, "PPP3SP2.exe" in Windows Explorer.

Make sure that PatentPro Plus and Adobe Acrobat Reader are not running when you install either of these.

Make certain that you have downloaded the entire file(s) before running them.  Some users have reported that they thought they had downloaded the entire file when they had not and thus the Service Pack did not install.  Respective file sizes are given below.  Please compare the listed file sizes before with what you have downloaded if you encounter an error downloading the Service Pack.
